NEWS
1/3/2025: Five years without an update? That's no way to run a business. 1/28/2020: The Dry Princess, book ten overall and a direct sequel to Plumbess Seg, lands physically on February 24th; an audiobook will shortly follow. 6/29/2019: I've been directing all my writing efforts towards Twitter recently. If there's a sadder possible combination of words, I don't know what it is. I also framed a puzzle. I'll get back to you once I'm through whatever this phase is. 1/17/2019: On February 1st and the two weeks following it, there will be a Goodreads Kindle-version giveaway of Plumbess Seg. The odds are probably against you. Button should be to your right somewhere (was--contest is now over, the button is lost). 1/12/2019: I've added my new book, Plumbess Seg, to all the relevant places. Probably more news to follow, since I'm going all out this time. She will turn the valve. 4/26/2018: Votes are in, and the book didn't win. I did a bold thing and published it anyway. I've made a page for it to match the rest, which means it's got some trivia and excerpting going on. And as always, a 'buy' button with a question mark. 12/22/2017: And then a year goes by. If you're feeling charitable, O' Random Stranger that Probably Arrived Here by Accident, vote for my new book on Amazon? 10/19/2016: My excuse this time, for three months of silence, is that I've written an entire book. For a while I thought maybe I would keep it a secret until I released it, but now I'm thinking--what's the point? And I've also finally got a short story to add again—a rough draft of 'Cavernous Thoughts', something in the Halloween vein. 7/21/2016: Lots of things to say today. I'll be participating once again in Art in the Park, an art fair in Loveland, Colorado, on August 13th and 14th. I'll have copies of my new short story compilation, Vices and Versas, along with all my other books. I've added a new short story called Der Prozess, which borrows thematically somewhat from the Kafka book of the same name. I've also replaced my Distillation story with a new, extended version, which I hope will please. 4/28/2016: I haven't updated this 'News feed' in a while, but that doesn't mean things haven't been happening —I've added four our five stories since the entry below. I still care, I just have a hard time showing it. 2/26/2016: I wrote a short story called Catacombs—it's very close to the most I've ever written in one day. I'm not much of a sprinter, really, but this time I tried. You can find it here 2/8/2016: I've intentionally added the short story 'The Mall' to the short story section. 1/27/2016: Welcome to the new site. So far, a majority of it is dedicated to the books I’ve already written— covers, excerpts, boring things. But for each book I’ve also made a ‘Trivia’ tab, which includes newly written, random anecdotes that are related to each book. Could be exciting. I also am going to have a portion of the website dedicated entirely to new short stories, which I will try to update weekly. I’ve inaugurated that section with a new short story called ‘Distillation’. And perhaps some other new things will follow. |
